MASTERTON RAILWAY STATION.
Per Press Association. Masterton, Tuesday. Substantial improvements are to be carried out at the railway yards, involving the outlay of between four and five thousand pounds. There will be a new departure in the platform, which will be of considerable length. New sidings will be provided. The goods shed is to be "considerably enlarged. A new system of points is to be installed, also new cattle sidings.
