A NATIVE'S SUICIDE. Per Press Association. Gisborne, Last Night. The district coroner has rccoivud the following advice from tho constable at Waipiro Bay:—"A native named Whikiu hung himself at Whareponga this morning. He assaulted a native woman in the bush last night and the natives sent for the police. On arrival Whitiu was found this morning hanging to 11 treo quite 'dead. Dunedin, Last Night. A boy named Nordmeycr, aged seven years, met with a serious accident at Alexandra to-rtay. While attempting to climb up on a passing waggon he fell, the rear wheeljrassing over him. : The boy sustained a broTccn leg and otbor serious injuries, and little hope is held out for his recovery.
