PRISONERS ESCAPE.

Per Press Association. . Rotoru'a, Last Night, two prisoners escaped from Kotorua last night. They were last seen about 0 ocock. When the lock-up hour (7 o clock) came round, the prisoners were missing. Their names are Harry Tavor, alias Alfred White., and Frank Mwards. The former has served two months of a three years sentence for indecency, and Edwards has served sis months of a three years sentence for theft and false pretences. Their ages are respectively 20 and 19 years. The prisoners are supposed to be making for Auckland. Sergeant Watt and two police are out in search, also warders from the Waiotapu prison.
