1908 BAND CONTEST.
A meeting of the executive committee of the I'JOS Baud Contest to be held ill New Plymouth was held in the office of Messrs. (.iilmour and Clark last eveumg, the president (Mr. E. Dockrill) presiding. There were also present Messrs, I'. IScllringer, A. Humphries, H. E. Kouutrce, ii. Slocker, and F. Ncwall. The contest dates were fixed for February 24th, 25th, 20th, 27th, and 28th. it was decided that the lest selection be played indoors. The secretary was instructed to write to the Hecrcution Sports Grounds Committee re securing the grounds for the above dates. Mr. P.
