In the Senate, Senator Fanley comAnm/l that the Standard Oil Company of America had raised the price of kerosene 3d per gallon since tne tariff proposals had been introduced. He urged the enforcement of the anti-trust law. The Vice-President of the Senate said Che Govern m-nt wa* inquiring into the natter. If the inquiry revealed that there had been a breach of the antitrust law the Standard Oil Company would suffer.
