ROTORUA RAILWAY INQUIRY.

Per Press Association, aw,, -n Auckfanff, Last Night. At the Kotorua Inquiry further evidence was given by James Marchbanks, engineer m charge of the WellingtonManawatu Railway Company, and by Alfred L. Beattiej chief mechanical engineer of the Kailway Department, in support of the efficiency of the Westinghouse brake, it being considered that the accident was the result of the brake having been tampered with. It is expected the evidence will be concluded to-morrow.
