Per Tress Association. • Wellington, Last Night. The City Licensing Committee met / to-day. The chairman said the commit- ' tee would insist on hot water being laid on to bars for sanitary purposes. An application for transfer of license m respect of the Empire Hotel was adjourned pending certain provisions for escape in the case of fire. Dunedin, iiast Night. At a meeting of the Provincial Council of the No-license League to-day it was decided to ask the- Government to take immediate-steps to deal effectively with the locker system, beer depots, and bottle licenses. . • ,
