JUrS BAKERY. In addition to improved tea rooms and other innovations at liis bakery estab-li-hment in Devon street, Mr Edwin May lias just installed an up-to-date mixing machine iu his bakehouse. The machine is, we understand, the first of its kind introduced into Taranaki, and is u-ed for mixing ingredients in the manufacture of small goods. From a sanitary point of view, the machine has everything to commend it, as it does away with hand-mixing, while as a laborsaver it" is a marvellous worker and will mix in n quarter of an hour as much material as would take 1% hours by hand process.
