The annual meeting of the New Plymouth Bowling Club will be held at the pavilion on Tuesday evening next at 8 o'clock.

A public meeting is called for to-mor-row (.Friday) evening, at tlie Council Chambers, to receive report of committee and other business in connection with the New Plymouth band contest. The Hunt Club's social to-morrow at Bell Block promises to be a great turn out. Extra accommodation has been provided at the hall to cope with the crowd. Those in the vicinity of Bell Block in the evening can, if they wish, procure tea and horse feed, at Mr Pote's, Bell Block, at a reasonable charge.
