THE TEAM FOR AUSTRALIA.
London, August 26. A. 0. Jones, in an interview, said the Marylebono team to tour Australia looked "a bit funny" on paper. It was a good fielding and bowling combination, but the stock of good batsmen was missing. He was glad some youngsters had been given a chance.
George Gumi, who heads the batting averagesof the Nottingham team, has [been invited to join the team for Australia. It is believed the team will number sixteen.
