SLY GROG SELLING.
Per Press Association. Dunedin, August 27. At the poliee court to-day, a woman named Ella Regan pleaded guilty to \ charge of sly-grog selling. the ponce evidence showed that on ,Suuday week,« eonstable and two civilians went to defendant's house, purchasing six bjttleß of beer at 2s Od each. Four bottles we?« consumed on the premises, and two take's away. The magistrate, Mr Widdon&on inflicted a fine of £7O and costs.
