A DANGEROUS TOY.

Per Press Association. Palmerston, August 21. A boy named Sydney Carson, aged 13 years, shot himself in the head with a toy pistol this morning. He is in a very pi ecauous condition. He appears to have had a difference with ail elder biother about how he became possessed ot the pistol, and, wlieh the father, subdemanded the pistol, the bov i placed it to his forehead and fired. The boy Carson died at 7 o'clock This evening as the result of the wound inflieted by a pistol. An inquest will be l«cid to-morrow.
