Dlil'AnTJffiNT TAKES NO ACTION. Per Proas Association, • Wellington, August 21. The evidence and finding of the Magisterial enquiry into the wreck of the Kia Ora lias lieen duly considered liy the Marine Department, and it has been decided that no further action will be taken, as the ease had been thoroughly gone into by a competent nautical court ] at Auckland, and nil available evidence had been heard, it was not considered 'possible, by the Department to glean anything'likely "to throw fresh light" upon the circumstances associated with fthe wreck by holding another inquiry, ■jnor was it deemed advisable to impose I any penalty on anyone concerned ii the - Court liad not done so.
