NEW FLYING MACHINE.
Paris, .lime 30. Captain von Korvvin, chief of the aerostatic section of the Austrian Army, who [is in I'aris. claims to have solved the question of aerial flight, says the ! Herald.
He said: *I have already constructed a machine "which lias lifted 200lbs. anil i shall fly over Paris in it. 11. Santosihmmnt and others are building machines that do not fly. tlicy only glide. The principle of ray flying machine is different. I can rise straight from a level field in any direction, and can move at any altitude. "T am having a machine constructed in various workshops in Paris, so that my plans for the ensemble may not he divulged. When completed, it will lie driven by a lflO-h.p. motor. "The very moment my machine lias any success—even"if it stays in the air but a quarter of an lionr—T shall destroy it with dynamite. My object is to prevent the machine being duplicated, so that it" the Powers wish to buy it thev will have to come to me.''
