TOLL-GATES FOR SOUTH TARANAKI
Per Press Association. Ilawera, August 18. Owing to the failure of agreement between the Hawera County Council and the Wainiate Road Board as to the issues to be placed before a Commission respecting Waimate's liability regarding the up-keep of roada, the Council has [decided to erect toll gates on roads leading from the Waimate district to the railways.
