ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
Per Press Association. Greymouth, August IC. When returning from the State collieries last night, a drag containing the Ktlly Gang Biograph Company capsized at Hatty's llill. The driver, George Ashbourne, was killed. The other occupants escaped uninjured. Wellington, August 16. Au inquest was held to-day concerning the <! alii of Henry Faivbrolher, the jockey who received fatal injuries at the last Trentlmm races through Prospector, j ilie horse he rode in the Jumper'.- Flat Race, falling and bringing other horses down. The evidence tendered went to show that the affair was a pure accident. Mrbrother had most of the ribs on his left side, and four on the right side, fractured, one of hit legs dislocated at the hip, and a lung ruptured. The immediate cause of death was pneut monia. The jury returned a verdict of • accidental death.
