me great popularity of the Garrisor, Band and the reputation achieved by its socials in the past, had the effect last night of bringing together a large assemblage, fully a hundred couples, at the the annual ball in the Theatre iioyal. It was a brilliant success, the picturesque fancy costumes aud masquerade lending attractiveness to the scene. Amongst those present were the battalion officers. Colonel Okey, Major M alone, and Quartermaster Captain -oek, and most of the members of the wnd in uniform. Sturmey, basß) and the duties of M.C.'s were courteous ly performed by Drum-major Lister Bandsman W. Home, and Mr W.
