WEDDING BELLS.
TUFFERY-ROWE. A very pretty wedding took place at "Willi.ii Farm," Hell Block, the home of the bride's parents, on .Inly 23. The contracting parties were Miss Ethel 8. Rowe, eldest daughter of Mr and Mra Thos. Rowe, of Bell Block, and Mr Geo. Tuffery, of Invercargill. The Rev. Armstrong oflieialed. A large number of relatives participated in the wedding breakfast, and after the usual toasts were honored, the happy couple left for llii'ir new home in Invercargill, where they arrived safely on the 20th. A welcome social was given them on the following Monday by numerous friends and relations in Invercargill. The bride • received a very large number of valuable and beautiful presents from friends and relations. Miss Jane Rowe, Bister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid, and Mr A. 10. Hood, of Rongotea.as best man. —Own correspondent.
