BOXING CONTESTS.
Followers and devotees of the noble art will learn with pleasure that a match has been arranged for Thursday night at the Theatre Royal, for the Featherweight Championship of the colony, between the popular ex-world's champion, Billy Murphy, and the cx-man-o'-wiirsman, Tom 'Tnohey, chain pion of the squadron. Patrons may expect to see a genuinely clover and wellfought contest. Both men are in active training, will strip at even weights, under 9 stone,_and each is confident, of success. A number of preliminary spars have been arranged to make ail interesting programme. Full particulars are given in our advertising columns.
