JENKINS, MATTHEWS & PIGOTT'S 1 REPORT. Jenkins, Matthews and Pigott r<vj port:—We had a very large yarding ot all classes of cattle ajt our Urenui stock sale last Monday. Bidding was fairly keen and most lines changed hauns. We quote: C.iilves las to 18s Od, yearlings 25a to 325, 2-year steers 50s, 20 months' heifers 33s (id, springing heifers 55s to 87s (id, fat heifers st)s to 70 1, cows and calves 595, store cows 43s to 595, two to two and a-half year steers 60s,three to three and a-half ye ir steel's 80s, stags 595. A quantity of fruit and shelter trees brought fair prices. <U Waitara on Tuesday we hurt a small yarding, and nearly everything was sold at Urenui prices.

VICKEPR AND STEVENS' REPORT. Messrs Vickcrs and Stevens report that there win a large entry of cattle at their Inglewood yards on .Wednesday, and prices for young stock showed a slight improvement. Calves made from !)s Od to £1 ss, empty heifers £1 5s to £1 9s; a nice line of Jersey heifer calves made £3; 2-yev stoers £3 ss, store cows £1 5s to £3, forward cows £3 IBs 0d to £3 Is, springers £2 .15s to £6 12s 6d. Alt Mr H. Peters' sale the competition was not so good as anticipated. The cows made from £2 Ts Od to £5 15s. At Mr J. E. Bennett's sale on Tresday there was a large attendance, and good competition. Cows made from £2 to £0 15s, 2-year filly £lO 2s Od. yearling colt £lO ss, bay mare £2l, and implements and sundries at good prices. JMSWi
