GOVERNMENT TO REMAIN IN OFFICE. Received 30th, 0.17 p.m. Brisbane, July 30. The Legislative Assembly met to-day. Mr Kidslon, the Premier, announced that the Government had received from the Labor party a promise of general j Support, and under the circumstances the Government would continue to carry LABOR'S ATTITUDE. Received 31st, 1.15 a.m. Brisbane, July 30. In the Assembly, Mr Bowman, leader of the Labor party, stated that at the Premier's suggestion his party has agreed lo support the Government so long as it Is not asked to support anything conflicting with the Labor platform, and give the Government a general support, while maintaining freedom to criticise any of its measures.
