THE TARIFF.
PROTEST FROM AMMUNITION DEALERS. Per Press Association. Dunedin, July 27. Local dealers in ammunition are forwarding a protest to the Government against the increased duties, which amount to CO and 4(1 per cent., and will prevent rabbit shooting in infested districts. They object to a monopoly being given.one firm, the Colonial Aranm* nition Company being the only one that will benefit by the change.
