HIGH SCHOOL CONCERT.
Hull was overcrowded last night when llii'U was overcrowded aslt night when a concert was given in order to raise iunds to assist in th:' expense of sending the New Plymouth High SvJiool football team on tour during the coming holidays. The programme submitted was of an exceptionally high sian-<hii-d. The Whifcley Orchestral' Soei->tv l'laycd two selections, and the vocal items were given by JHss Choice Buckman, .M<ssrs lhisl.un and Clarke, pianoforte solo by .Mrs Pope, and a cornet «»I<> by .Mr <;. Saunders. The gymnastic displays given by the pupils were fully appreciated, and were really splendidly sUgod. The concert concluded with scenes from "As you like Tt" by the following pupils: J.',Sinclair("Toueristone"'), It. Quiliiam ("Orlando"), ]l. Cok-r ("Jaqum"), ]!. l! a vlv ("Rosaiiml"), C. yuilliam ("Alian.V), A. Os. borne ("First Lord" and "Andrcv," du il part). Tan Orant ("Sir Oliver Marios" and '-The Duke," dual part), B. Cibis" gow ("Adam"). The scenes' wore very well sliged, and the hMvioiiic powers displayed by some of Ui- performers ipiy.e unexpectedly delighted the audience,
