UNCONVENTONAL WOOING.
The unconvenntJTtal wooing of two lovers led to a curious incident on the Pennsylvania railway. There have recently been several attempts to wreck express trains, and the track has been guarded with unceasing vigilance. The Pittsburg detectives were informed that at a certain spot the wreckers were at work. They made a rush, and found a youth kneeling over one of the rails and tapping it with a coupling pin. They seized mid handcuffed him. A mile up the track they found a girl with her ear fo the rail waiting for the tappings which had suddenly ceased. The mystery was then explained. The lovesickpair had devised a code of tap., by means of which they were accustomed to communicate with each other.
