The annual meeting of the Taranaki Educational Institute, to elect officers, etc., will be held at the Education office on Saturday next, at 1.30 p.m.
The next meet of the North Tairanaki Huut Chili will he held at Rugby road, noar Inglewood, on Thursday, August 1. Members from this end of the district who intend riding to Inglewood are requested to meet at Mr Gus Sole's residence at 8.30 a.m. sharp. After lundi at Inglewood a start will he made from the PosWHce at noon for Rugby road, whore some good country has been secured. Given a fine day the meet should be a successful one, as the club has a large number of enthusiastic members in the Inglewood district. The club intends holding a dance at Bell Block on Thursday, August 29, to wind up the season.
Mr J. Jones, architect, invites tenders, to close on August 10, for the erection of a Catholic Church at Waitarm.
The ladies' section of the boot department of the New Zealand Clothing Factory is quite a feature of this firm's large business. It is fitted up with every convenience, is presided over by a competent saleswoman, and carries a large and varied stock of high-class boots and shoes.
