POULTRY SHOW.
The Taranaki Poultry, Pigeon and Canary Society's Annual Show opens at tie Drill Hall to-day. There are large catties, despite the fact that two large Hew Plymouth fanciers have dropped oat of the competition lists since the last show. Among the birds shown are some of the colony's best in the v»riou« breeds, and fanciers and othcre are protßbti a treat m the way of quality. All the arrangements are right up to the minute, and a successful show is assured. Tickets for the Art Union will be avail- • »M» during the currency of the show. whfch opens to-day, and will continue «J«B until Saturday night.
