SLY GROG SELLING.
Per Press Association. Jnvercargill, July 18, Mr McCarthy, S.M., to-day delivered reserved judgment iu the ease against ■Jeremiah llartiiett, William lleiklc, and Martin Campbell, charged with assisting m the sale of liquor. The evidence was ■Unit the men visited sly grog shops and purchased liquor. The magistrate found that constituted an oilence; and fined each _.U2 with costs, in default a fortnight's imprisonment.
