.Sir John llialoii, of Matapu, is on a visit to New Plymouth. ! Mr If. S. Eitzlierbert, S.M., returned I last evening from a visit to Palnierston I North. Mr Blundell, Chief Inspector of Stock, came up from Wanganui last night, and will be staying in the district for a day or two. Constable W. J. Gardiner, formerly well known locally and in Stratford, tame from Auckland yesterday morning, and travelled as lav as Arainoho in charge of a prisoner, returning last night.
