H.R.U. the Diiclus-3 of Argyle opened an Anglo-Australian Exhibition of w.irk I at Bumplemaycr's, St. James' Street. The Exhibitinn comprises pictures, millinery, cookey, photographs, enamels, modelling, leather-work, and needlework. The Princess of Wales contributed a worked screen. Mrs Reeves (wife ot the New Zealand High Commissioner) was present. The Duchess, replying to a welcome speech, said she knew something of what Australia could do, and wa= Sure the Exhibition would be suu e-sful. The Duke of Argyle expressed admiration for the patrotie Australian ladi'-s who had labored so hard to show Londoners what Australians could do. tie was certain the exhibits would be much appreciated.
