HAWERA POULTRY SHOW.
Tin' seventh amnial Poultry, Pigeon, mill Canary Show at Ilawera' was hold yesterday, iiiul drew exhibits from breeders and fanciers in all parts of the colony. Valuable birds were shown from Otago, Wellington, Christchureh, Wanganui, and New Plymouth, the latter showing well In the prize list. Air A. S. Palmer, the poultry Judge, remarked that the Society had the finest show of poultry lie bad seen. The working arrangements of the show were very pleasing, alike to the exhibitors and the public. Amongst the North Taranaki winners were Messrs S. Crisp, S. Teed, J. Bennett, .1. Hurle, E. W. Dixon, E. Ward, J. Sparks, C. E. Seabright, and \Y. Heals (of New I'lynionlh), \V. Hall (Sentry 'Jlill), Messrs A.' Kerr, anil 11. Stratford I'l'ariki). .1. Mvnott, and A. .J. Hopson (Inglewooil). In Indian (lame, A. .T. Ilopson (Inglcwonii) look first for cock, cockerel, and piillel, second for hen; S. Crisp (Now I'lynionlh) lirst for hen. A. Kerr was the'only prize-winner in lirahams. securing two lirsts and a second. \V. Hal' took lirsl for Houcum hen. In black and single-comb Orpingtons J. T. Wade (Stratford) showed the fourth hen, S. Teed the second pullet and fourth cockerel. In Hull's, .1. llennott sliowcd Hie winning cockerel; S. 'feeds black single-comb puliet was first.

Teed first for white cockerel and pullet. Leghorns: In Browns, .T. "Mynott (Ing'.eworal) look first and special for cock, first for ben, fourth in pullets. Andalusians: Cockerel, W. Hall first and special. Hamlmrgs: W. Hall first for black cock and cockerel; lirsl and specials for spangled cock and hen, first in pullets and cockerels. Ducks: Rouvns. duel;, W. Hall 1. In Pcliins, If. Stratford took first and special for drake, lirsts for duck, duckling and drakeling; A. Kerr seconds in these classes.
