Mr. ('!. IT. White met. with a painful accident on Sunday afternoon. Ife was cycling down the 'Carringtou road,after conducting service, and, in a dip near Mr. lila'nchett's house, the bicycle

skidded on the wet road, and fell. Mr. White lauded on the road cutting his nose and lips badly. He was temporarily attended to at Mr. ISlaiiclicll's, and was brought into town, where Dr. Maeklcy attended the injuries. It will be a week or more before' he is able to get about
