Miles (Palmerstou North); section 27: 90 acres, J. 11. James, Mangatainoka; section 28: 70 acres, C. Stevens, Tamaki; section 20: 75 acres, T. A. Harwood, Clarcville; section 30: 70 acres: J. D. Callaway, Muharahara; section 31: 75 acres, 13. A. Pearson, Ashley, Clinton; section 32: 70 acres, L. Cubit, Makotuku; section 33: 75 acres, A. W. Hanson, Palmerstou North; section 34: 75 acres, .1. tiooch, Dannevirkc; section 6: 100 acres, Minnie May, Matahwi; section 7: 100 acres, Thomas Edlin, Foxton; section 8: 100 acres, Lewis J. Edwards, Maharuhara; section 0: 81 acres, Adolph Berg, Shannon; section 10: 80 acres, Oscar Nielson, Pukchou; section 11: 86 acres, John Hanson, Wellington. The last section was dawn by Arthur Pritchard, Palmcrston North, but he was absent, and another draw was made. There were 219 applications.
