BILLIARD MATCH.
Billiard players will no doubt appreciate the demonstration to be given by Mr. T. C. liragge, tlie well-known expert exponent, and representative of Aleoclc and Co., at the Criterion Hotel on Wednesday evening. Prior to the demonstration, "a match will lie played between Mr. Bragge and Mr. W. Birch, a local player, the latter being conceded 350 points in 75H. Mr. Tiragge was in charge of Alcock and Co.'s line exhibit at the Exhibition in Chi'istchm'ch, and gave a large demonstrations of liis skill. At the close of tho Exhibition he received the following letter from Mr. G. Munro, General Manager of the Exhibition:— This serves to place on record the very satisfactory and capable manner in which vmi'have conducted exhibitions of billiard playing at the New Zealand International Exhibition. The 205 displays which vou have given have been of a very interesting and skilful character, and have been very largely patronised ],y flie public. Tn conclusion T have 110 hesitation in expressing my opinion as to tlie satisfactory and gentlemanly way in which you have conducted your displ.i vs.
