INCREASING THE POLICE PAY.

Per Press Association. Wellington, June 14, The Minister for Justice intends to submit to Parliament a proposal to increase the pay of members of the police cers in several parts of the colony. The on the recommendation of the Police Commissioner, who considers that ow'"g to the increase of police duties and the extra cost of living the rate of pay should lie increased.
