REPATRIATED AUSTRALIANS
A SMUGGLER BLOWN UP. Tripoli, June C. A sailing vessel laden with ammunition intended to be smuggled into Tripoli blew up off Saris, on the Tunisian coast.
It is reported that 50 persons were killed.
One report states that the captain Of the vessel blew her up rather than surrender to the French Tunisian authorities.
I ALLEGED IRREGULARITIES. c | Sydney, June 7. 5 The Seamen's Union delegate has reported to the Labor Council that 80 pr cent of the last batch from Soutli Africa were not Tepatriated Australians. ;When the officials could not get a- full complement of Australians the vacancies on the steamer were thrown open lo the public of Durban.
