HOCKEY.
o The Ladies' Hockey Association lias been formed at New Plymouth, to I e called the Taranaki Ladies' Hockey Association. The officers for the first year are:—Patron, Mr \V. G. Malone; president, Dr Fookcs; vice-presidents, Messr.s J. S. S. Medley, \V. A. Cathro, E, .1. Rowe and \V. D. Anderson; secretary asd treasurer, Mr E. Turner. • The management committee consists of itne delegates. Meetings of the association' wiil I e held alternately at New Plymouth, Inglewood, and Stratford. The entrance j fee for clubs is half a guinea. A shield will be given by the committee to he competed for annually. I The following are the fixtures for 'hel first round:—
June 13—I»glewood v. Waiuiarie, ;:t Inglewood. June 15—Whakatika v. Ataraugi, at New Plymouth. June 20—Hinemoa v. Waiuiarie, cl Stratford. June 27—Whakatika v. Inglewood, *.t Inglewood; Atarangi v. Waimarie, at Stratford. July 4—Atarangi. v. Hinemoa, at Now Plymouth. July 11—Waimarie v. Whakatika, at Xcw Plymouth. July 13—Hinemoa v. Inglewood, at Inglewood. July 18—Atarangi v. Inglewood, at New Plymouth. July 20—Hinemoa v. Whakatika, at Stratford.
