SERIOUS DRAG ACCIDENT.

Per Press Association. Tiiuaru, May 31. A four-in-hand drag, with sixteen people, going to a country concert, was smashed up before getting out of town. The reins are supposed to have become fouled and (lie driver lost control. The team turned round and bolted down Beverley Hill, and, turning a sharp corner to the town, capsized the vehicle. Miss l'Ydoy, of Dunedin, sustained a fracture of the skull. The driver, Johnson, was very much bruised, and also Miss O'Connor, whose brother had :i'A inches of hatpin extracted. The whole party was much shaken.
