BUTTER AND CHEESE FREIGHT.

Per Press Association. Wellington, May 30. The National Dairy Association has notified (lie dairy companies that the cheap freights for butter, Is 9d per box, and cheese 3s 8d per cwt., will end oil 30th June, and the old freights, 2s Od for butter and y 2 d per lb for cheese will be reverted to. The low rates were due to the competition of the Federal Line. This is now ended, and the shipping companies say the rate did not pay.
