FIRE BRIGADE BOARDS.
Per Press Association. Wellington, May 30. The Government representatives on Fire Boards at the four centres, under the Fire Brigades Act, have been appointed as follows:—Wellington, 0. McKcrrow, ex-Surveyor-General, and chairman of the Land" Purchase Board; Auckland, D. Goldie, timber merchant; Christchureh, H. B. Rusbridge, builder; Dunedin, J. Arkle, who was until the end of March chairman of the sub-committee of the Dunedin City Council., which had charge of brigade matters. Wellington, May 30.
Following are the Government nominees for other Fire Hoards for the respective districts;—llawera, .R. H. Welch; Feilding, W. A. Bailey; Palmerston N., A. 'Turner; Danncvirke, G. Wright; Masterton. 0. N. C. Pragnell; New Plymouth, O. E. llellringcr; IVtone, R. Mollies: Milton, .1. W. Petric; Lawrence, G. Jelfcry; Oannmi, .1. Bullerd; Alexandra, T. H. Caliill; Hokitika. J. C. Malfroy; Maori Hill, 0. Bnlk; Waimate F. AUhurst; Whangarei, R. Thompson.
