Finest: Market linn at last quotations. Inferior: Market continues weak. The total imports of lmtter into the United Kingdom Tor the week ending the 18th inst. amounted to KKUHIik-wt,, as compared with 8100()e\vt. for the corresponding week of 1!)U0.
Frozen meat.—Since our cable of the 17th inst., prices of Xew Zealand crossbred frozen lamb are at part to %d per 11) higher. Frozen mutton: Market firmer. The tone of the market is generally firmer. b
Hides.—Cable received from the Company's Melbourne branch states that the market there is very firm for all wellconditioned sorts, but for scored and sloppy lots, the market is easv and is inclined to go lower.
