RAND MINERS' STRIKE.
SYMPATHY WITH THE STRIKERS. A VEHEMENT THREAT. Received May 27th, 10.49 p.m. Pretoria, May 27.
A gathering of five thousand Johannesburgers expressed sympathy with tLe strikers, and advocated compulsory arbitration. Mr B. L. Outhwaite, a member of the executive of Transvaal National Association, declared the miners would bring the financiers to their knees, and compel them to plead for arbitration.
