London, Slay 25. Mr. W. JL Hughes, one of the Australian delegates to the late Navigation Conference, addressing an enthusiastic Independent Labor meeting at Sheffield, declared that the v elections in Queensland only proved that the Labor party had indulged in the luxury of fighting amongst themselves, and would be all the" stronger next election. The Labor party in Australia never allowed fiscalism to divide it, and never will. The party made politics a people's question, and the people were supporting them in larger numbers each year.
