AUSTRALIAN IMMIGRATION
VICTORIA'S PROPOSALS. I.OXDOX. May 24. Referring to immigration. Mr. "Jiont lias informed Mr. Deakin that he is not disposed to go as fnr as Canada in the direction of giving inducement to emigrate to Australia. Victoria would lie able to supply emigrants with a million acres if necessary.
