STRIKERS FINED.
Per Press Association. Christehureh. May 24. Fourteen of the Pareora slaughtermen were fined in connection with the recent strike. They refused to pay and the Crown Prosecutor has filed motions in the Supreme Court for attachment of the defaulters. It is provisionally arranged to hear the actions at Timaru June i.
