Tlu.' Ilcnui schoolroom was packed hi the doors last night, when a capital' concert was given to raise, funds fin- the enlargement of (he building. Tlu? programme a lengthy one, was full of meMl, and was fully appreciated. The hall interior had been prettily decor-at-vl by the Sunday School workers. Kcv. Latter presided, anil at the tunelusion of the cimcert thanked all those who had contributed ifowards the sue ' cess of the ail'uir. Woodanl; duet: "Walelnnan. what of the Night?" Messrs Bimiington and Mallet, (encoivd); song. "The old Bassoon," Mr Binnington; instrumental selection: Mr ami Mrs C'oruI wall, Mr and Miss McEweii; song:
''Summer," Mrs Johns; song: "The Diver," Mr T. Woodard; trio: "The Bells of St. .Michael's Tower." .Mr and .Misses Biker; recitation: "Wolf and Hound," Mr Uislop; song: "A. Soldier's Song," Mr Mallet; song: ''Cranny's Story," Miss Baker; stump speech: Mr Binnington; instrumental quartette: Ooriiwiills Baud. The accompaniments | were capably played by Mrs Latter and the Misses Baker, Kice and Taylor.
