For paying less than the minimum wage he was fined £2 and costs. Ernest Salisbury, a butcher, charged with not paying the minimum wage, was fined £3 and costs. Qarett end Company, Molcsworth street, for employing a lad at less than the stipulaled wage, was fined £3 and costs. Roberts ami Bassett, coal merchants' .' Taranaki street, were charged with cm' ' ploying a non-unionist as a driver, and #B*' fined £3 and costs. Young and Sellerß, carters, charged with a like breach, were fined £3 and costs. Allan Magulre, for employing a non-unionist as a laborer, was fined £3. J. Radford (furniture trade), charged with not indenturing a Tboy, was fined £5 and costs. Edward Collie (furniture trade), for employing a non-unionist, was fined £3 and costs, lnec nnd Ilutchings, bootmakers, charged with allowing work to be taken home and done away from their factory, were filled £1 and costs.
