CHRISTCHURCH ELECTRICAL SCHEME.
Per Press Association. Christehureh, May 20. The City Council to-night approved the scheme of the eijy engineer, Mr. D. Rob--ron, for obtaining electrical power by harnessing the Wainmknriri River, nnd a special committee was appointed to obtain an expert report on the scheme and promote the necessary legislation.
