ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
Per Press Association. Auckland, |May 16. A message from Tauranga states that when tho steamer Waiotahi was entering the harbcr last night, n young man named John Maxwell became suddenly ill, and died before medical assistance could b? summoned. A doctor subsequently examined tho body and gave hit opinion that death was probably caused by a clot of blood finding its way to the brain. Tho body was taken to Opotik), where deceased's relatives resido. Gore, May 16, A man named Arthur Lewis was found dead at his residence at Brydone, Eden, dale, jester J ay. Lewis was a farmer, and was in partnership with a brother.
