HEAVY TRADING EXCITE.UUXT. SOWING OPERATIONS DELAYED. Received Kith, 1.9 a.id. New York, May 12. Heavy trading has aroused intense excitement in the wheat market at Xew York and Chicago. Cold weather has delayed the seeding in the North-West, and it is stated that only 15 per cent, of .Manitoba seeding has been done. Chicago quotations have risen 3 to 3% cents.
