The lady members of the Colonial parte were entertained at Buckingham Palace. Arriving at half-past five, they were received personally by King !'•'!- wnril. who shook hands with each, and extended a most cordial greeting to nil in turn. Tea was served at small tables, so that members of the Royal family might mingle willi guests with greater ease. A visit to ib- terrace and grounds followed. Kin? Edward received various groups and (halted freely. Kill',' Edward withdrew at seven o'clock. All 1 lie visitors were charmed with the gracious-iK"-s and cordiality of the King and the Royal fr..,:ly. T!i i band of the Kings Colonials played in the garden. The party included Lady I.vne. Lady and aiis* Word, ami ilia. Duakin.
